ST Engineering iDirect is seeking a Senior Sales Representative who will be a key in achieving its aggressive growth targets in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • B2B Sales of ST Engineering iDirect’s technology and services.
  • Remote based desk position with minimal travel required.
  • 60% Account Management - 20% Lead Generation / Sales B2B- 20% Sales Team Support.
  • Manage defined list of customers.
  • Create target lists and obtain all relevant contact details and help to produce marketing mailers to go out with Marketing.
  • Encourage existing customers to upgrade were possible.
  • Work on lead generation campaigns with the marketing team.

This person requires a blend of strong business and financial skills, technical sales experience, and the ability to identify and penetrate key targeted accounts.  By efficiently identifying strategic contacts, establishing relationships, and understanding potential commercial opportunities across the ST Engineering iDirect product portfolio, the Senior Sales Representative will then further develop the opportunity.  The ability to assess the business opportunity and articulate the value both internally and to the potential customer will be a critical responsibility.

 

A technical understanding will be beneficial, though the in-depth technical, product, and/or industry assessments will be done leveraging resources from other iDirect teams and, potentially, strategic partners.  The ability to identify the key decision makers and opportunity value within an account will be a key skill for this role, crafting the right message and team for each unique touch point within an account.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development or direct sales.
  • Business experience with sales / selling models.
  • Experience in Senior Executive level interaction – both internally and externally facing.
  • Analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an organization to present ideas, articulate the business economics of an opportunity, gain consensus, and agree on execution model.
  • Ability to identify key contacts and establish new relationships.
  • Ability to understand technical and non-technical challenges and engage appropriate resources to identify risks and corresponding mitigation strategy.
