iDirect is seeking an experienced satellite communications professional who will be a key contributor to the Corporate Development team that is responsible for developing and driving strategic corporate initiatives.
The position is responsible for guiding multiple different strategic programs and requires strong collaboration across interdisciplinary teams. Interaction with other ST Engineering iDirect departments is required to leverage the expertise, knowledge and thought leadership that will drive the foundation of our strategies and corporate growth.
The Director of Corporate Development will interact and build working relationships with executive and management level personnel at existing and new partner organizations that we are working with to support our strategic initiatives. This role will be the primary interface to many of these supporting organizations and will drive the interaction and business relationship with these entities.
This person must have strong business and financial skills developed via practical, hands-on experience in the satcom industry. This is required to build and defend professional caliber business cases including financial projections for internal and executive level board review and approval. The function requires a solid understanding of organizational interdependencies, priorities and capabilities to identify the impact of any initiative on the company, including staffing, infrastructure and cost.
The role is also responsible for supporting our sales organization within region by providing guidance on any of our initiatives and long term strategy. This may require interaction with our customer base to review strategy and innovation, or support customer planning.
This position requires working in close partnership with different technical and business-oriented teams including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales.
