The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for various general accounting functions. This position, in which the individual will be primarily focused on the General Ledger duties of an accounting department performing journal entries, reconciliations and participate in various projects as requested. It is an exciting position for an accountant who wants to work for a fast-paced international company and grow in the corporate accounting field while experiencing the full breadth of the accounting function.

• Take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with BGAAP and IFRS standards
• Lead critical month-end and year-end closing activities
• Continuously improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
• Partner with internal stakeholders and auditors
• Contribute to SAP optimization and process enhancements
• Support, guide, and mentor accounting staff

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working within an accounting organization and participating in close activities
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or similar

• Strong expertise in:
• SAP (essential)
• VAT regulations
• BGAAP and IFRS
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills
• Experience in a fast-paced or international environment is a plus
• A hands-on mindset combined with strong analytical skills
• Confidence to work independently and take ownership
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in Dutch and English
• Self-starter, self-managed and flexible
