We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our Engineering team (Test Automation). This internship provides hands-on experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks, integrating tests into modern CI/CD pipelines, and working with cloud-native, Kubernetes-based service architectures. The role also offers exposure to satellite networking technologies, making it ideal for candidates interested in both software testing and advanced networking domains.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
  • Work closely with QA and Development teams to ensure robust and comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS DevOps services.
  • Contribute to testing strategies for microservices and Cloud-Native Functions (CNFs) deployed on Kubernetes.
  • Assist in testing and validating satellite networking capabilities, including link performance, latency, routing, and protocol behavior in space-based communication systems.
  • Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and improving test stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Clearly document test cases, test results, and automation processes.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic programming knowledge in Python.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Pytest and/or Playwright.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and common tools.
  • Basic awareness of containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native principles.
  • Interest in networking fundamentals and satellite communication systems (Optional). 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
